A little bit about me

I am a Freelance IT support specialist supporting small businesses with Custom Database Applications and Technology Support. I am a Fixer so to speak in the Technology field. People come to me with their problems or ideas and I research their problems and provide options to overcome whatever tech may throw at them.

I have been providing IT solutions for over 10 years, mainly in the foreclosure assistance market. I manage and host a couple small web-sites written in WordPress. This one is a Woman owned Business and This one is Family Owned and Operated. I run a commercial server at home with Dual 6 Core Processors and 96 Gigs of Ram.

I got into Amateur Radio back in 2015 and started to tinker with electronics. I find myself building small electronics such as mic amplifiers and repairing my own radios. Being an IT guru I found the need to figure out how to use my radio and my computer together. That is when I discovered digital modes that ran off the audio in and out of my computer. So I built an audio interface and a serial PTT trigger that runs from my computer com port. I have since grown to enjoy operating various digital modes as well as phone/voice modes. I even tinker with the Raspberry Pi.

I also dabble in coding a little bit, I have written software using Python, PHP, and Mysql. I have some coding in PHP that creates my QSL cards for digital downloading. It’s my part to save some trees.
